GARDENHOUSE MALLORCA
The Living Laboratory of Mediterranean Preventive Living™.
Gardenhouse is the research and experimentation home of the SeaSkin Life System™.
A place dedicated to exploring how the Mediterranean territory can help us live better over time.
Gardenhouse is the living laboratory of SeaSkin Life: a space where nature, research, culture, and ways of living converge to observe, investigate, and develop Mediterranean Preventive Living™.
Here, the territory becomes knowledge. Biodiversity, botany, nutrition, light, movement, rest, materials, architecture, culture, and daily rhythms are part of a field of observation and experimentation connected to Mediterranean life.
More than an estate, Gardenhouse is an applied research platform where SeaSkin Life can observe, interpret, prototype, and test new ideas in direct contact with the territory.
The knowledge developed at Gardenhouse can be translated into new methods, experiences, rituals, formulations, materials, programs, and design principles applicable to hospitality, residences, yachts, destinations, and everyday living.
OBSERVE → RESEARCH → INTERPRET → PROTOTYPE → IMPLEMENT → SHARE
Gardenhouse represents the evolution of 18 years of SeaSkin Life practice into a permanent infrastructure for research, experimentation, and learning.

SEASKIN LIFE GARDENHOUSE
WHAT WE EXPLORE
BIODIVERSITY & REGENERATIVE LANDSCAPES
We explore Mediterranean biodiversity through landscape, regenerative agriculture, beekeeping, and conservation.
The goal is to generate knowledge about species, pollinators, crops, and ecosystems that can be preserved, documented, and applied in future projects.
RHYTHM & EVERYDAY LIFE
We study the relationship between light, rest, movement, nutrition, recovery, and daily rhythms.
We observe how these variables interact and what lessons can be incorporated into Mediterranean Preventive Living™ experiences, spaces, and practices.
LIVING LAB
Gardenhouse allows ideas to be put into practice.
Gardens, ingredients, materials, rituals, and experiences can be observed, developed, and tested before translating their lessons into new applications.
INGREDIENT-FIRST RESEARCH
We investigate Mediterranean ingredients, botanical actives, and hive products from their origin, cultivation, and traceability to their application potential.
The goal is to expand our knowledge about the ingredients we use and explore new possibilities for formulations and rituals.
APPLIED RESEARCH & INNOVATION
Observation becomes research; research becomes a prototype; and a prototype becomes applicable learning.
OBSERVE → RESEARCH → INTERPRET → PROTOTYPE → IMPLEMENT → SHARE
HUMAN EXPERIENCE & RECOVERY
We study how light, sound, movement, rest, nature, social connection, and ritual influence the human experience.
The insights allow for the development of better criteria for designing spaces, experiences, and practices oriented toward recovery and quality of life.
MEDITERRANEAN PREVENTIVE LIVING™ ARCHIVE
The knowledge generated will be documented and preserved in an evolving living archive.
Research · Conversations · Publications · Experimental gardens · Ingredients · Materials · Protocols · Residencies · Cultural projects
Its function will be to preserve learning, connect disciplines, and ensure that the accumulated knowledge can continue to be developed and shared.
GARDENHOUSE FELLOWS
Gardenhouse aims to bring together researchers, architects, botanists, chefs, artisans, designers, artists, and specialists from different disciplines around one question:
What can the Mediterranean teach us about how to live better?
Residencies, meetings, and collaborative projects will allow new perspectives to be incorporated into the work developed at Gardenhouse.
THE FUTURE OF GARDENHOUSE
Gardenhouse is conceived to evolve over decades.
Each piece of research, collaboration, and prototype can expand a body of knowledge that grows with practice and can be transferred to new contexts.
PRACTICE → LEARNING → KNOWLEDGE → TRANSFER

Where observation transforms into knowledge, and knowledge into new ways of doing.
