Illes Balears Clàssics | SeaSkin Life at Club de Mar Mallorca

Sailing, Wellness & Mediterranean Living

SeaSkin Life during the Illes Balears Clàssics Regatta at Club de Mar Mallorca

During a week defined by sailing and the Illes Balears Clàssics Regatta, SeaSkin Life joined the life of Club de Mar Mallorca with a wellness program integrated into the rhythm of the regatta, the sea, and the community.

Mallorca lives looking out at the Mediterranean, and during the great regatta weeks, that relationship takes on a new intensity. Classic boats arriving at port, crews preparing to sail, activity on the docks, days at sea, and meetings between sailors, members, and visitors make the club an especially vibrant place.

In this context, SeaSkin Life was part of the Illes Balears Clàssics Regatta week at Club de Mar Mallorca, accompanying this gathering around classic sailing with different wellness experiences. An opportunity to connect care, movement, and recovery with a universe deeply linked to Mallorca: the sea and Mediterranean nautical culture.

WELLNESS AROUND THE REGATTA

Sailing involves movement, balance, concentration, coordination, exposure to the elements, and hours of activity. And when the boats return to port, another equally important moment begins: recovering, resting, meeting, and preparing for a new day.

During Illes Balears Clàssics, SeaSkin Life accompanied the Club de Mar program with various experiences dedicated to movement, care, rest, and recovery, designed to integrate naturally into the rhythm of those who live the club and the regatta.

Wellness did not appear as an experience separate from the nautical week, but as part of it: moments to prepare the body, change pace after sailing, recover, and share time on land.

Activity and recovery are part of the same rhythm.

WHEN THE BOATS RETURN TO PORT

A regatta happens at sea, but a large part of its culture also takes place on land: on the dock before leaving, in the preparation, upon returning, in the conversations between crews, in the gastronomy, in the meetings, and in the moments of rest.

That is where a yacht club acquires a dimension that goes far beyond sailing. Club de Mar Mallorca is also a place of hospitality, community, and life around the Mediterranean.

During Illes Balears Clàssics, SeaSkin Life became part of that rhythm, incorporating wellness into the very life of the club and accompanying the different moments that exist around a day at sea.

This integration opens up a particularly interesting perspective for us: understanding wellness not only as a service we turn to, but as something that can be part of the places, rhythms, and communities in which we live.

SAILING, HERITAGE, AND A WAY OF LIVING

Illes Balears Clàssics also contributes a dimension especially linked to our way of understanding the Mediterranean: heritage.

Classic boats do not only speak of sailing. They also speak of transmitted knowledge, materials, design, craftsmanship, conservation, and a relationship with the sea built over generations.

Mediterranean Preventive Living™ also starts from a contemporary look at Mediterranean cultural heritage: observing what we can learn from our historical relationship with the environment, movement, food, rest, the senses, and the community, and studying how that knowledge can continue to have value in our way of living today.

That is why being present during a classic boat regatta takes on a meaning for SeaSkin Life that goes beyond a week of activities. It connects contemporary wellness, Mediterranean culture, and nautical heritage within the same context.

THE MEDITERRANEAN AS PART OF THE EXPERIENCE

Sea, natural light, outdoors, movement, food, rest, relationships, and rhythm. Many of the dimensions that SeaSkin Life explores through Mediterranean Preventive Living™ are naturally present in life around the Mediterranean.

The environment is not just what we see. It can also facilitate certain ways of behaving: moving, spending time outdoors, meeting other people, resting, or changing pace.

This is one of the ideas that is broadening our way of understanding wellness. After nearly two decades working with skin, treatments, hotels, spas, and experiences, SeaSkin Life is now exploring how our way of living and the places we inhabit can contribute to creating better conditions for living well over time.

Illes Balears Clàssics allowed us to observe this relationship from another deeply Mediterranean context: life around the sea.

MEDITERRANEAN LIVING, FROM LAND TO SEA

For SeaSkin Life, being present at Club de Mar Mallorca during Illes Balears Clàssics means continuing to explore one of the territories most closely linked to our origin: the Mediterranean.

A territory that connects Mallorca with other places, cultures, and communities, and that for centuries has been part of our way of moving, eating, relating, working, and living.

For one week, classic boats, sailing, movement, recovery, heritage, hospitality, and community coexisted in the same place. And that coexistence reflects many of the connections that are at the center of Mediterranean Preventive Living™: body and environment, activity and recovery, sea and land, heritage and contemporaneity, person and community.

From Mallorca, we continue to explore how to bring this way of understanding wellness wherever Mediterranean life happens.

FROM LAND TO SEA.
